Microdrives

Hello

has anyone used the CF like Microdrives from Hitachi and IBM for a EWF based
Image?

I am looking into them as they are significantly cheaper than DOMs and was
curious if anyone had used them as yet. I just picked up a 340MB Microdrive
which I am going to try out and at $40, is a lot cheaper than a 256MB DOM or
CF.

Where did you get a $40 Microdrive?

New on Ebay, there are hundreds of them for sale, usually ending price is
around 35-45 each for the 340MB Microdrives.

I have also seen them online for around that price from online vendors.

the question is getting them to read as Basic instead of Non-removable
media.
