MicORsoft pop-ups

I have been getting a lot of pop-ups lately, and instead
of it saying MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER on the top, it
says micORsoft Internet explorer, so I know there is a bug
somewhere on my harddrive. Any suggestions on how to get
rid of this pest??? Thanks!

There *is* a known hijacker by that name! It's not a bug ...
Follow Frank's advise on removing this pest ...
FYI: my HOSTS file targets this culprit (see below)
