mic isn't working with MSN Messenger 6.1

I can't seem to get my mic to work with MSN Messenger 6.
I have tried everything to my knowledge
The mic tests all work, my cam works, I can hear other people
I have tried to un-check the "QoS Packet Scheduler", doesn't help
When I am in MSN Messenger and I go to Tools-Options-Connection it says that I am connected to the internet through UPnP port restricted NAT, I think this is my problem, but how do I fix it? Very frustrating! Please help!
