Messenger Service Popups

Hey,

I get these pop-ups on my computer that say they are
from "Messenger Service", they aren't in browser windows
and do not looking like XP message boxes. I get them
every 15 minutes or so after connecting to the internet,
and can't close a group of them, I have to close each one
individually.

Any help on how to get rid of this menace would be
greatly appreciated!

Enable your firewall, for the first thing - this is a common form of spam
and although it isn't dangerous per se, it's a good indication that you
probably have ports exposed/open to the Internet.
