I've got several public computers to manage and they all have MSN
messenger 6.1. I've noticed a problem with the fact that even when you
log out of your account, your name stays on the logon area of the
window next to the SIGN IN button, and someone else can come along and
click the button. It does not ask for a password...and I can't find
any option to turn on to make it ask for a password. The closest thing
is on the Privacy Tab where there is a check box for "Always ask for
my password
when checking Hotmail or other .NET Passport enabled web pages". This
does not do the trick.
It only will ask for a password if you choose to log in as someone
else, but you can easily log on as the last user. I can reboot the PC,
or for that
matter uninstall and reinstall msn messenger, and still the last
person to use it is esentially still logged in. Is there any way
to change this so that it always asks for a password no matter what
the settings are of the last person who logged in?
