messed up registry, no system restore

Hi,
I installed Pinnacle PCTV card with it's software and I
think it messed up my registry cause I now cannot access
either my CD or my DVD drives!! In device manager I get
error 19 which means bad registry info.

Does anyway have an idea about how to fix this without
reinstalling windows?

Hi

Try a System Restore back to a point before the problem started.

Oops - sorry - wrong info. Press F8 just before the Welcome screen appears and select 'Last Known Good Configuration'.
