messed this up`security files`...please help

While trying to increase the security among all desk users I have denied
myself ( and all others ) access to "shared documents all users" is there a
way to undo this? Ihave tried system restore but for some reason this is not
working , it just hangs there looks like this is messed up as well.

You first need to take ownership in advanced/ownership as an administrator. This will
allow you to change permissions to your needs. --- Steve
