Since yesterday, almost all of the messages I click on in
this newsgroup show "message unavailable" Is there
anything I can do to on my computer to correct this, or is
this a problem coming from the newsgroup?

Thank you,
Debbie

Should you be able to see this message...
Set up Outlook Express (at least) to read the newgroups. There is a how-to
here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/setup.asp
You will have far less problems than when using the web interface, which
seems to be having a few problems recently.

Hi

It looks like the Microsoft servers that makes up the interface to
the Microsoft newsgroups (CDO) are having trouble at the moment.

You could switch to use a proper newsgroup reader instead of using
CDO (e.g. Outlook Express), more about this here:

Also note that the posts are also available at the Google newsgroup
archive (they are stored there 4-6 hours after they are posted to a
newsgroup):

Message unavailable

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your reply, but when I clicked on it to
read it, it too shows "message unavailable". Maybe, try a
new post instead of a reply post. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply, your name comes up so I can see
you are replying, but when I click on it, it still
shows "message unavailable". Please make a new post for
this subject?
