message stuck in outbox

Hi,

I've been experiencing this problem for about 2 weeks now. I freshly reboot
my laptop running MS Windows 2000 Professional OS and then run MS Outlook
2003. For a while, I am able to send, reply,forward messages. But then, after
a while, the messages that I send/reply/forward get stuck in the Outbox. The
only way to overcome this problem is to reboot my computer and then restart
Outlook. In this case, Outlook promptly connects to the MS Exchange server
(of our company) and sends the unsent messages stuck in the Outbox.

Any suggesstions on what the problem could be and how to overcome it ?
