message stuck in outbox

Tried to send to big of a message. The message is now
stuck in my outbox. I cannot move it or delete it (says it
has already been deleted or moved). Cannot send any
messages as this has it blocked. Outlook is configured
with both a POP3 and exchange 5.5 account. Please help.
 
Try going to [Tools][Send/Receive][Send/Receive Settings]
[Disable Scheduled Send/Receive] Then close and reopen
Outlook then try deleting the message.
I just went through a similar situation.
