Message rull Sort order

I give each message rule a name.
Makes them easy to find.
What would be even easier...would be if you could SORT the message rules in
name order.

So far, I've not found a way to do this.
Anybody?

You can only achieve that by using the up/down arrows in the message rule
dialogue.

It is not a good idea really, since some Rules are more important than
others and need to be higher up the list of rules.

In general:

Have all rules that divert mail to folders first.

Delete it from server next.

All others last.

Make sure that every rule also has Stop processing more rules checked,
unless that option is greyed out.
