Message Rules Only Work When Connected to Exchange Server

Has anybody observed this? I have several client only rules set for local POP3 accounts that simply move emails to specified folders based on which account received them.

These rules only work when I am connected to the Exchange server-otherwise they all go into the Inbox.

This is a problem due to this computer being a home office that only connects to the server with a VPN.

Hi, I think you need to re-create your rules, I have 2
POP3 accounts in my local profile and i'm not connecting
to exchange server and it's working just fine. make sure
you turn on the rule after creating it.
