message remains on screen

When i send a word attachment using File | Send To | Mail Recipient (as
attachmetn) the message sends but remains no the screen. I have to ALT+F4 to
close it. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Thanks.

What Outlook version? Did you install all the latest service pack and
hotfixes?

Hi. I have the same problem. Office 2003 + SP1 + all updates from MS Site
running on Window XP SP2. This feature appeared after some of updates (Office
SP1? SUS updates?)

The message is sent, only message window still remains and you need manually
to close it.

Any ideas?

Are you also using Adobe 6.0 Professional? I have un-installed Adobe 6.0
and the problem went away. Once it was re-installed, it happened again. I
greatly appreciate any assistance anyone can give.
