Hello Board,

Does the Recall Message feature in Outlook works? I have exchange and I
have never seen this feature work as you would expect it to work. I can
understand it not working for external mail server, but not even on the
same Exchange.

I have users who try to recall messages, what happens is that the
recipient ends up with two copies of the e-mail and then when they try
to open it a dialog box comes up asking for permission to allow the
message to be recalled. WHAT IS THAT? That's like asking the policeman
permission to drive over the speed limit. Makes no sense.

Am I missing something? Can someone enlighten me on this feature. If it
doesn't work, MS remove it, and reduce help desk calls because of it.

In practice, the conditions under which the recall feature works are very
limited. Many, as you, find it doesn't work reliably at all.
