Message Pop Ups

Does anyone know how to stop those annoying message pop
ups....do they have to do with an open port on my
computer? any help will be greatly appreciated...

Activating your Windows XP built-in firewall will stop those popups
Click Start->help and type in FIREWALL to find out how.
