Hi all,

I have a user on my network who uses the Message Options
often to delay emails in the Outbox to a specific time.

(For example, the user can write an email at 1pm and click
send and the email will sit in the Outbox until the
specified time the user has set in the Message Options
dialog box.)

The problem is that sometimes the messages work and
sometimes they dont. Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks.

Outlook/OS version?

Also, what sort of mail account(s)? Does this work if the user leaves
Outlook running?

Windows 2000 Pro/ Office XP using Exchange server 5.5..

Even when Outlook is running the mail still doesnt send.

Hi,

Windows Pro/ Office XP and Exchange server 5.5.
Even if Outlook is still running the message doesnt send.

Has the user set the Exchange account up for offline? If not, (i.e. if this
is just a vanilla online Exchange account), the problem is with the Exchange
server - it is responsible for sending the message in that case.
