Message is deleted

I have a user that when he reads a email message in Outlook2000, that when the message is closed it is automatically deleted....???

Would appreciate any help

Is it going to the Deleted Items folder or just disappearing from view? If
it's just disappearing from the Inbox try checking the view. Go to View,
Current View. Make sure it's not set on Unread items.
