Hi All,
Would any one have a fix for this problem in Winxp outlook
express6. When I down load messages from my news groups I get this notice.
Outlook has not downloaded the message. To download this message, I then get
two choices press here or press space. My e-mail portion works
fine.............

Thanks in advance,

I think that is the way to set up any email news reader, why
waste time and risk downloading possibly harmful stuff. You
can read the header info and decide whether an email the
says "Fw: Re:Fw: " is really worth your time and the same
goes for the newsgroup that offers "Naked pictures of ___"

But it is a setting in each newsgroup, right click on the
newsgroup name, select sync properties.

Jim,
Thanks for your reply, however that didn't seem to do the trick. Still
thanks for trying.

Johnf...............

Are you downloading only NG headers and then trying to read posts offline?

Hi,
I found out what I did wrong. I had unchecked, automatically download
message when viewing it in preview pane. In my haste to become acquainted
with my new computre and Home XP I got a little crazy. Thanks for the reply
though.
