message cannot find WAB DLL. , what is wrong

I just installed office 2000 on a new Laptop with Vista Op. sys. I keep
getting the message cannot find WAB DLL. I do not believe th mail is going
out, nothing in sent items.

Office 2000 on Vista? Hello? The OS and the software were created in
different centuries. They are not compatible and this has been very well
documented here countless times:
