Message Boxes in VB.Net

The last thing I did was install this Spyware Beta. Now
when I try to pop up a message box in VB.Net I get the
box and the title, but no prompt text and no "Ok" text on
the button?

Anyone have this issue?

PS: uninstalling it didn't help.
 
You might post in a VB.NET related group. Someone may recognize the
symptom. I'd be interested to hear the result though. There are a number
of issues where folks state that the problem didn't go away when they
ununstalled Microsoft Antispyware, and I'd like to have a clearer idea about
what happens.
While you had it installed, did you, by any chance do a scan and remove
things?
 
Thanks - that's a useful thread--theres another message somewhere on these
boards mentioning an update to McAfee 8, but without any URL to find it by.
The implication is that McAfee, without that update, also interferes somehow
with Microsoft Antispyware.

I don't know whether your development or testing process involves scripting,
but Microsoft Antispyware does have some issues in this area which need some
care to work around--here's a good reference:
