My host is using a unix based server which doesn't support ASP which is
needed for running the Snitz Forum builder http://forum.snitz.com/

Are there any other locations that provide forum help, tutorials or someway
around this.

Any help would be much appreciated..

find a host that does support ASP (which needs a Windows based server (?))

or a forum that is PHP or Perl/CGI driven.

www.yabb.com or www.phpbb.com might be starting points.
