Merging User Accounts

I have 2 user accounts set up, but it's frustrating having emails downloaded
to one account, music files in iTunes in the other account. Is there a way
that I can merge the accounts, and then delete one? I'm afraid if I just
delete one account I will loose some files.

You cannot merge the accounts the way you are thinking. Instead, make a
new account and copy the data from the other two into it. If you want
the new account to have the same settings as one of the other accounts,
follow the instructions at the link below. Otherwise, just copy over
your data. You will need to log into the new account once before you
can copy anything to it.
