Guys,

I have excel XP. I have created a work sheet with several
pages set out in same format (Template style).

How do I merge all the sheets into one sheet which updates
the regional figures on the individual sheets as a global
overview on a new sheet. I am not an expert, so lay
language would be appreciated.

Regards,

John C

Hi John,

I suspect you are going to have to provide a wee bit more detail for people
to help you.

You can obviously do a cut/copy paste solution, but I suspect you are
looking for something better.

You need to tell us how you data is outlined on the various sheets. Then
there might be a formula or vba solution to your challenge. But without
knowing how the data is organized, it's tough to answer your question with
any confidence.

From your information that you have provided, you might want to see if a
pivot table is good solution for you. Have a look at pivot tables in
Excel's help. Pivot tables are very powerful in allowing you to organize
and display the data that interests you.

Best regards,
Kevin
