I'd like to create one document from multiple forms that use different
templates, without word automatically messing up all the formatting to match
one of the templates (Normal is Times New Roman in some forms, and Arial in
others, etc., and cut and paste wreaks havok with the carefully formated
tables). All I want to do is cut and paste and have the paste look like what
I cut. Is this possible?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?RGFyaW9u?=,

Probably not. At least, not without a lot of manual preparation beforehand. For
one thing, you'd need to change everything formatted with a "Normal" style that
should not change to the "Normal" in the target document to use another style.

You might have a chance with the page layout / tables layout if you use the
Master Document feature to bring in the files as sub-documents, as this should
retain the margins. But if you do this, you should then "Remove sub-documents"
to break the links to the original files.
