Hi, Wayne,
Yes, it's possible.
First, create a new blank template (File > New, and click the Template
button before hitting OK; in Word 2002 or 2003, click "On my
computer..." on the New Document task pane to get to the dialog where
you can click the Template button).
Go to Tools > Templates and Add-Ins, and click the Organizer button.
In the Organizer dialog, click the AutoText tab. The new template's
name should be visible on one side, and the Normal.dot template should
be on the other side.
On the Normal.dot side, select any AutoTexts you want to transport,
using the standard click, Shift+click, and Ctrl+click selection
methods. Then click the Copy button in the middle.
When you have all the entries you need, click the Close button at the
bottom of the dialog (not the Close File button under either
template). Save and close the new template.
Copy the new template (to find it, look in Tools > Options > File
Locations for the path of the User Templates folder) and take it to
the other computer. Copy it into the User Templates folder on that
machine.
In Word, open the template, or create a new document based on it. Open
the Organizer dialog. Select the AutoText tab. Select the entries in
the template and copy them to Normal.dot.
