Hello

When making a spreadsheet shared the merge and center function in the
toolbar disables. Can anyone help to make it remain enabled all time?

That's inherent to sharing!
 
When you share a workbook, some features won't be available, including
merge cells. For a complete list, look in Excel's Help for the following
topics:

-- About Shared Workbooks
-- Share a workbook
-- Features that are unavailable in shared workbooks
 
Hello,

Go for Tools>Custom... :) better u try yourself bcoz it is a method
of learning Excel...
