memory stick

Bought 2 exactly same Lexar memory sticks. One works well,
the other won't take copied files and instead returns Data
error (cyclic redundancy check). Replaced this stick with
a third and this one does exactly the same.

Return them and buy a name brand such as Crucial,
Kingston, or Cosair. Use one of their online memory
configurers to be sure you're ordering the right
modules.

Have you tried to format it the stick? Does the "third"
stick work (Replaced this stick with
| a third and this one does exactly the same) as the one
that works or the one that doesn't?

Why not ask Lexar, since the error is theirs.

It is a Lexar (a name brand) thumb drive (USB)

I am wondering if, since they have the same Vendor ID, that Windows is
seeing the two as the same drive and causing problems because of it.
