This information, as well as the specific type(s) and size(s) of RAM
modules that your laptop can accept, will be in the manual that came
with the laptop. It should also be available on the laptop
manufacturer's web site. (As you haven't bothered to tell us which, out
of literally hundreds of different options, specific make/model laptop
you have, no one can provide a precise answer.

Depends entirely on your laptop. Check your manual, manufacturer's web site,
or call them for help.

Got the manual(s) that came with your laptop? That will tell you where the
RAM is. In past experiences the RAM has been underneath the system and as
easy as undoing 4 screws to access the RAM bays. Some laptops required
removing the keyboard, which involved taking out 247 screws just to do so,
then accessing the RAM bays with your finger nails. Also it would be wise to
know the RAM limit of the system, laptop RAM has come down in price but
still is relatively pricey.

Most often its a small door on the bottom of the unit. Some have a
screw, others not.
