It looks like the prices of memory are starting to come down again, I doubt they will ever fall the prices they were at 24 months ago but we hopefully memory prices have peaked after their drop and will now settle to a reasonable price that everyone can benefit from.

Sounds good to me. I remember buying a stick of PC133 SDRAM 256 megs for $32 canadian about a year or so ago, was really a great deal. I should have picked up some more, but I wasn't working at the time and was broke. Now it costs 5x as much. Nice to see prices going down again.

Whats was the conversion rate between canadian $ and £ Sterling? I remember buying 256mb pc133 SDR for £17, that was a deal and a half. I was in the same boat as you Eric was still at college and lacking in money.

According to today's numbers, one canadian dollar is worth 0.401399 pound. Or, the other way around, 1 pound is worth 2.49129 Canadian dollars. So $32 is £12.8445.

Wow, I wish it was still that cheap now! 256 Megs of DDR 2700 is about £60 at best now - I got it about half that price 3 months ago :)
