Memory Issues

I am new to PowerPoint and though I had no problem
inserting an Org Chart slide in the classroom (Office
2000), I tried to create a PPT presentation on my home
computer. I keep getting the message, "There isn't enough
memory available to read MS Org Chart."

I am running PowerPoint 97 on MS Millenium edition. I
have 386 MB, 51% available, so I cannot find where the
problem is. I have tried reloading PPT, optimizing
Virtual Memory, cleaning out MSConfig, but nothing has
worked. Any suggestions?
 
It's a weird message. You really aren't out of memory. You have too many
fonts installed on your system. Check out this PPT FAQ entry:
