Help

I recently upgraded to a new computer (all items new) & I
am constantly getting a blue screen with "System Memory
Dump" for offline software & online internet surfing.
Even just typing up a post like this can cause it & this
was happening even before I got on the internet so I doubt
it's a virus. With my old Win98, 256RAM, 600Mhz... I
could download 4 items while reading on the internet, now
I risk crashing on simple stuff.

I'm using Windows2000 5.00.2195 ServicePack4, ASUS
Motherboard, AMD Athlon XP2700, GeForceFX 5700 & 512RAM
350PowerSupply all with the latest updates (except some
internet updates). Same Harddrive. A fresh boot to
desktop I see physical memory use at 25%+.

Suggestions?
