Memory access violation...?

Can anyone help me. Eveytime I try to run certain
programmes or log on to certain websites I get the error
message that says:

Memory access violation in module kernel32 at
6392:57651387.

The numbers change each time the message appears.

Could anyone tell me what problem it is referring to and
how I may go about solving it?

Clue: Microsoft does not distribute updates or patches via e-mail. You
likely recently received and installed one of these faked support emails.
