Getting this message when attempting to run msconfig or
regedit: Memory Access violation in module kernel32 at
1234:12345678

Originally occured when loading Norton Anti-virus and
Norton Internet Security.

Otherwise, all programs, internet access, hard drive, etc.
work normal.

Suggstions, other than reformating drive and reinstalling
everything?

Regards,

rad

Suggestion: find a newsgroup that is dedicated to the OS you're using or to
networking -- this one is for Microsoft Access database software, and it
would only be by chance that you might find the answer you seek here.

This is the trademark of a Swen virus infection. Go to
www.symantec.com\avcenter and read about how to remove Swen from your
system.
