Mega-Disc is a very good CD/DVD cataloger. Although I have found several
bugs that I wrote the authors but have yet to receive a response.
They Are
1. Unable to delete an item. (small Nit)
2. Megadisc install replaces OLEAUT32.dll version 2.40.4518 with version
3.50.5016.0.
This causes an error in internet explorer version 6 when using the find
function in IE.
3. If you click on "ALL DISKS" and all disks are already displayed, you get
the following error:
Runtime error '91' Object variable or with block variable not set.

The site says the welcome bug reports and questions.
I also asked them a question about updating to the pro version
but I have yet to receive a response. to any of my emails

Any one else having a problem?

I saw this from the screenshots.. it looks ok... but I have mostly disks
with movies
and programs and files... not music.. and I use another program that is not
freeware,
but in my opinion the best around for what I want to do...

Its called "whereisit" http://www.whereisit-soft.com/

I can hear the old hags in here nagging already... whining about me talking
about a program that is not freeware. Too bad. Someone might want to try it
after trying the freeware one, thus this information is useful.

I use freeware Cathy : small, free, fast, easy, no install ( so fits easily
on CD with all my catalogs, for easy reference of my CDs)
( Cathy from Vasicek see here)

Cathy does not have all the features i was looking for, including the cddb
look up.
