I sent a meeting request to my wife. She got the message on her Outlook but
didn't have an ACCEPT button. Is that because she's not connected to my work's
LAN? I believe her Outlook is newer than my Outlook 2000.

A meeting request uses a special Outlook form. The message must arrive to
the recipient in RTF format for the form features to work.

Check out

for more info on setting RTF for external recipients. Note, however,
depending on the mail hosts (hops) between your e-mail system and her's, RTF
formatting might be stripped somewhere in transit, meaning she will not be
able to receive anything in RTF formatting.

I set her bookmark to send RTF, and also did the same thing for my own home
bookmark. I sent us both meeting requests and I got the "Accept" button but
she did not.

I'll look at it again tomorrow to see if I missed somehow.
