Hi,

I currently use the Health program from
http://www.healthdiabeticsoftware.com/ to keep track of my body
temperature. It contains some nice options to display and print
graphs but unfortunately it can't export the graphs.
Does anybody know a program which offers the same kind of
functionality and which als can export the created graphs, if
possible html 'formatted'.

Kind regards, Gert

From the screen shots, this looks like a very useful program. I wonder
if PrintKey would satisfy your requirements (sorry: I don't have a link
handy). PrintKey is a free, well-behaved screen-snatcher. It's got great
options and an excellent interface. You can save the image in any of a
number of compressions, including .jpg. This should zip right into your
HTML creation.

PrintKey is not the only program of its type, but it's the one that I
know. Please let us know if this works for you.

Thanks Richard, that's what I'm doing allready with MWSnap. I just
hoped that some program could generate and export those graphs using
built-in functionality. If not I will continue to use MWSnap.

Thanks anyway

I'm now familiar with MWSnap. What is it?
Have you suggested the improved functionality to the diabetic software's
coder? What you want sounds like an excellent improvement to me.

Do you know the program Jos Creusen made? Look at

Ask Jos, perhaps he will put it in the program.

For the 1st one, paste this (minus the surrounding brackets):

<javascript:var ff=window.frames;for(var ii=0;ii<ff.length;ii++){ff
[ii].document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0].style.backgroundColor='#
000000'};void(0)>

into your browser's URL space and hit Return.

For the 2nd, use this:

<javascript:document.getElementsByTagName('body')
[0].style.backgroundColor='#000000';void(0)>

Aw, nuts. The brackets didn't prevent wrapping. Each of those is a
single line, they won't work with breaks in them.

I don't understand the problem, they both have yellow text on a blue
background. Nothing seems to be wrong with that!

My guess is a slow connection/impatience.
The yellow text loads before the blue backgrounds, just enough to notice
the yellow-on-white-effect with my connection (about half a second), but
after that the site is fine.

Even then, yellow on blue? If you use Firefox, this extension is great
for just such an occasion.

This toggles annoying CSS and color schemes on and off. Unfortunately,
there is not much you can do with idiots who use frames.

An exellent website to have listed in your favorites/bookmarks for dealing
with websites like these:

Yep! Exactly what I was going to recommend. I have the "zap colors"
bookmarklet in my Firefox Personal Toolbar, and I use it on 90% of web
pages. I don't know about anyone else, but I was brought up reading black
print on white pages, not blue on yellow.

BTW, in Firefox, you can deal with the frames issue by right clicking and
selecting "This Frame>Show only this frame."

Take a look at http://www.bookmarklets.com/ . You can get bookmarklets to
remove background graphics, to change text colour, to change background
colour and many more.

you have images turned off, or they are otherwise being blocked.

they should load a blue background

if using explorer, probably same for mozilla
click on the page or frame, press ctrlA , that is 'select all'
or click and select area with mouse
that changes to highlight colours for page text on unreadable pages

On the designers old 21inch monitor with failing colour gun, maybe it looks
fine
or maybe it is your monitor that is failing :-)
Nope, yellow on white really is bad.
