I have a client that is using a Netgear Wireless-G card. However, the other night while I was attempting to network the laptop into her home system, the wireless card ceased to function. I thought it was a faulty card so I took it back and got another one, which I have confirmed is good on another machine
However, this card's behavior in my client's system is only partly functional. The card can send data packets but is unable to receive. I've been through tech support with Netgear and got basically nowhere.
I've determined that the problem is within WinXP; I can't release the IP because the "Media state is disconnected". So, I can't renew either.
I'm goin' nuts!!! can anyone maybe point me in a direction that will resolve this problem
Thanks!
