Media Player won't load Playlists or find media

Media Player 9 seems to have lost my Media Library and it
won't let me create a new one.

When I click on the Media Library, nothing is shown.

When I choose Tools, Search for Media Files, the dialog
appears, but stays there and finds nothing

When I choose File, Add to Media Library, Add File or
Playlist, and choose either a WMA file or playlist, I get
Error# 80040E37.

Any ideas?

Cannot find input table is the meaning of this error.
You'll probably have to recreate it.

I may have found a solution, though not the cause. In
\Documents and Settings\Allen_B\LocalSettings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Media Player I found a couple of .WMDB
files. Deleting these allowed media player to start fresh
and recreate a new media library.

Is there an easier way to delete an old library and start
fresh?

I don't know of any. I do not use Media Play, I use
MusicMatch Jukebox. You might check the Tools section.
