Media Player wont burn cleanly

I am having a problem burning WAV or MP3 files to a music
CD with Windows Media Player. The resulting audio CD will
play fine in the PC or car but each track has a
loud 'click' inserted before the next track begins.

I have tried different source files and different media.

Any ideas what may be causing?
 
Hello,

When you burn a CD, there should be a option for placing a
audio gap between songs. You want to choose to not have
an audio gap. Check in the options or preferences of the
burning software you are using.
