I am trying to read a data DVD I created on a Vista machine on my XP machine
and I was getting cylindrical errors. Using the DVDINFO program I found that
the drive is reporting it is encrypted & locked. I did not do this when I
made it. Does Vista automatically do this to all DVD's? How do I decrypt
it? Is there an add-on program to do this? I really need the data on the DVD
and I have no way to recover it, the other machines hard drive failed shortly
after the Vista update. Please help.

Thanks

I don't know about the Vista DVD questions. You could try Isobuster.

I tried that program and several others and it tells me the format is invalid.
There must be a program that decodes these DVD's. I just need to find it.

Ok sorry that didn't help. Good luck.

These are the errors I get when using the program you recommended.

Any ideas?
