hi

i run an IT suite in a school..
we have 30 networked xp pro machines.. 1.8 athlons
had them a year now
files streamed over internet are fine
but local and network files played thru media player are playing at
different speeds on differnet machines..
mp3's and video files..i thnik they used to be ok!
but now womens voices can sound like mens and vice-versa!!
as far as i know nothing has changed on teh machines
in fact, i am not sure, but i think the sound on video goes faster than the
(or slower) vid, so it has to catch up.. i might be wrong there!!
any ideas?
cheers
Craig

Open Windows Media Player and from the Toolbar select:
View > Enhancements > Play Speed Settings, then click "Normal".
