I just installed Media Player 11 and now media connect does not work. The is
no entry under programs to start it either like it was before.

Is this a function in the media center edition of XP? I'm not familiar with
it. If so you might want to post to the media center and media player
newsgroups.

In a newsreader:

That's because it's built into WMP11. Go to Tools/Options/Library to share
with other devices.
