Hi. I'm having two problems, one I discovered trying to fix the other one.
The second one, to which the title of this thread refers, is that when I ran
accross the Media Center page and saw the update, I decided to grab it. When
I tried to run the update it basically said that I was trying to add the
update to a computer that doesn't have the correct version of xp. Well, I do
have the media center edition of xp, so can anyone point me to an answer?
Because it may be related somehow, I'll just mention that my other problem
is with word, and when I tried to reinstall word I got a message about the
windows installer not being accessiable or something, maybe do to running
windows in safe mode or something like that. The underlying word problem has
something to do with documents "not being registered".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
