Media Bar in XP Home

The media bar just recently has begun to display a bar towards the bottom of
the bar that says Download Windows Media Player 9. But I have already
downloaded it back in November. Am I suppose to do this again? When I
start media player, it says WMP 9???
 
There was update for player few weeks ago not sure date.

Check your add/remove programs for this listing:
"windows media player hotfix wm 82 8026"

or check the help "about" button for version: 9.00.00.3075

if these are "missing" then update player is correct.
