Media 10

I goofed and downloaded Media 10.
It deleted my Library I have been building
for 3 years - 226 select songs copied from CDs I paid for !!!
I have no need for all the downloading of music, etc.
All I ever have done is copied from CDs.
I need to get a lower numbered Media without all the bells
and whistles. How may I obtain a lowered Media number?
Also since downloading Media 10 I have lost SOUND.
Tried many ways to get sound back with no success.
Any thoughts or comments?

Is your system restore working? Media 10 sets a restore point when it is
installed so you should be able to go back if it is on and working.

That won't restore his files though (which MP10 did *NOT* delete - it has no
effect on files - neither does System Restore).

No you goofed by not backing up! If things are that precious you back them
up. No back up? No sympathy! You deserve everything you get for being such
an unadulterated moron.
