ME to XP - any way to keep MS software

I need to install XP on my home PC. ME will not load
Oracle (need for a class). Currently, I have Word, Excel,
Access, PowerPoint and Visio loaded. Is there a way to
keep those products after XP is installed?

If you have a Retail Upgrade version of Windows XP then it should do
the upgrade install with no problems, preserving all of the installed
applications, configuration settings and user data files.
