HashTab Windows Shell Extension

A 153Kb large download file

HashTab is a Windows shell extension which adds
a tab called "File Hashes" to the Windows Explorer
file properties. The tab contains the MD5, SHA1 and
CRC-32 file hashes. These are common hashes that
are used to verify the integrity and authenticity of files.
Many download sites list the MD5 hash along with the
download link. The HashTab makes it very simple for
Windows users to check these hashes on any file on
the system without using external tools.

By-the-way, i had a question : while exploring mp3 tags today (for the
first time) i noticed that some few peoples added CRC controls in the
"comment" section of the tag...i guess they were CRCs, however i will
not be able to put the hand of this tags again in the amount of mp3
i accumulated.
But now, imagine you want to add a CRC in the tag, that would cause
a problem because the file would be modified while inserting the CRC,
as tag. the obvious answer is, such a file can only be checked
by blanking the "comment" tag....
