I have seen this with my own two eyes but can't seem to make it work. I saw
someone place the loopback ip in the remote desktop connection an they
connect to there own machine with a differant user, but the user who is
currently logged on does not get booted off the machine. How do they does
this? I would have asked but they did not speak english so i was kind of at
a lose. When i try this on my home machine it tells me i cant run two
sessions. Also on this know if im helping someone over the net via remote
desktop is there a way for me to log on to there machines an see what they
are doing an direct them to do what is needed. When i connect to there
machines i have to log in an this boots them off. Im wondering if remote
desktop works like the remote desktop in SMS or terminal services cause with
those two i can see what the user is doing? Thanks

I would perfer not to install MSN on any of the systems. I can use 3rd party
software to do what im looking to do but I just like to keep a clean system
an would not like to install things were the OS already comes with something
that should work. Any ideas? Anyone or should I just use 3rd party?

There is no way to do this with one XP computer... However, you can
do what you want with a total of 3 XP computers or 1 XP (client) and
one Windows 2003 Server by using the shadow command.

To do this, you need to logon to one of the other XP pro machines,
remote desktop to the third computer, then you can run the "shadow"
command to view what is happening on the first machine...

Take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=279656 for more
information.
