maximum size of distribution lists in outlook 2007

Using Xp and Outlook 2003 we were able to send emails to distribution lists
as large as 150 persons.

With the Vista Outlook 2007, we are getting an error message for anything
over about 25. This seems like a Huge step backward, or are we doing
something wrong. We have a monthly trade newsletter that goes to 700+
people, so making and maintaining small distribution lists is time consuming
and painfull!

How can we send emails to a large group of people on a regular basis?

Outlook doesn't have outgoing limits. Your ISP or mail server imposes
those.

Outlook distribution lists are really not the best option. There are several
mailing list software packages, including our own email scheduler
(http://www.lbetoolbox.com/scheduleemail.htm) which will allow you to send
multiple individual emails, html or plain text, with attachments, either as
a one-off or regularly at a specified time and interval
