I created a budget in Excel that has several worksheets. I wanted to
have a button next to each budget line that would simply bring the
user to the corresponding support worksheet. I was able to build 11
macros but now the "Record" and "Create" buttons are grey'd out. Is
there a maximum number of macros an Excel file can have?
Thanks

You should post this in the Excel newsgroup (and no, I'm sorry but I
don't know the answer or I would tell you now).

This has nothing to do with Windows XP. Try here (via newsreader):

no idea, but it sounds like the people who write excel should be assigned to write windows.
if they can get error processing for buffer over runs in excel, we badly need their help on buffer over runs in windows.
